Yosemite National Park Reservation System
If you plan to visit Tenaya at Yosemite in 2024, please be aware of the Temporary Peak Hours Vehicle Reservation system, known as “Peak Hours Plus,” implemented by the Yosemite National Park Service. This system may require reservations for entry on specific days between April and October. Please familiarize yourself with this information, as it may impact your visit, necessitating reservations for the entire day.
WHEN ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
Vehicle reservations are mandatory on the following days in 2024:
- August 17 – October 27: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and Monday holidays from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Hop on the new Tenaya Shuttles, available to all overnight guests of Tenaya at Yosemite!

- Utilize YARTS.
- Wilderness or Half Dome permit holders do not need a reservation.
- Enter before 5 a.m. for full-day access (reservations are only required from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily).
- Utilize the park reservation system on Recreation.gov.
TYPES OF TEMPORARY PEAK HOURS VEHICLE RESERVATIONS
In 2024, there are two reservation types:
- A reservation for vehicle entry at any time.
- A reservation for entry after 12 p.m.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
The initial wave of Temporary Peak Hours Vehicle Reservations starts on January 5, 2024, at 8 a.m. PST on Recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086745. Additional full-day and afternoon reservations will be available one week before your visit.
DURATION OF RESERVATION
Reservations allow one vehicle access for three consecutive days from the first valid day. The reservation holder must be in the arriving vehicle and present a photo ID at the entrance station.
