Experience Yosemite like never before with our exclusive Private Step-On Guiding service. Whether you’re traveling in a private vehicle, van, or charter bus, our expert guides will join your group to provide engaging commentary, navigate the best routes, and lead immersive hikes through some of Yosemite’s most breathtaking landscapes.


How it Works

  1. Meet Your Guide – Your guide will meet your party at the porte-cochere at Tenaya at Yosemite.
  2. Step On – Your guide will step onto your vehicle and provide route directions.
  3. Guided Experience – Enjoy in-depth knowledge about Yosemite’s history, sights, and natural wonders.
  4. Explore – Get in and out of the vehicle at scenic stops and trailheads with punctual guidance.
Price:
Full Day Step-On Tour: $975

Hiking Step-On Tour:
$1,075 for up to 7 people
$1,775 for 8-14 people

A lunch for each participant is included.

Hiking Options

Guests on the Hiking Step-On Tour can select one of the following guided hikes

  • Mirror Lake Loop – A serene walk with reflections of Yosemite’s stunning cliffs
  • Wawona Meadow Loop – A peaceful trek through rolling meadows
  • Taft/Sentinel Dome – Breathtaking panoramic views from Yosemite’s high country
  • Mariposa Grove – Wander among towering giant sequoias
  • Vernal Falls Mist Trail Loop – A thrilling hike to one of Yosemite’s most iconic waterfalls


What You Need to Know

  • Lunch Included for each participant
  • Meeting Location – The porte-cochère at Tenaya at Yosemite. Special pickups available for cabins/cottages.
  • Transportation – Guests must provide a vehicle with an available seat for the guide.
  • Park Entry Fees – Guests are responsible for Yosemite entrance fees.
  • Gratuity – Not included in the tour price.


What To Bring

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, guests should bring:

  • Backpack for personal items
  • Refillable water bottles (at least 2 liters per person)
  • Layered clothing for changing temperatures
  • Hiking boots with good traction
  • Sun hat & sunscreen
  • Mosquito repellent

Bonus: Water refill stations are available in the lobby before departure.
