Kids New Year’s Eve Celebrations

New Year’s Eve isn’t just for grown-ups! Tenaya Lodge is proud to offer not one, but TWO New Year’s Eve parties for kids!

Kids “Camp Out” Party (ages 9-14)

6:30 PM – 12:30 AM
To reserve, please contact the Concierge at 888-514-2167, option 4.

OK campers, let’s get ready for some real camp-time fun. Grab a buddy and let’s play in the tent! We can break out the camp chairs and sing silly songs. Then it’s off to the arts and crafts table to try our hand at bead kits, animal masks, lanyard key chains, and friendship bracelets. Come on campers, let’s get in our camp circle and play “The Never Ending Story”. For those active campers, how about a game of Camper Says, potato sack relays, archery practice with our “ring toss”, or a variety of other camp games. We’ll learn how to make hiking vests with large paper bags and crate our favorite animals out of pipe cleaners. Get all of your friends together; it’s a camp out with KiddieCorp.

Kids “Wild Safari” Party (ages 4-8)

6:30 PM – 12:30 AM
To reserve, please contact the Concierge at 888-514-2167, option 4.

Who dares to enter the jungle? We do! The children will really feel like they are on safari when they see our brightly colored safari animal play huts and our jungle decor. Animal Pictionary and a scavenger hunt for ancient hidden gold are just a few of the items on the agenda. No safari would be complete without binoculars and wild animal masks, we’ll make our own during our wild adventures! Children will enjoy making wild animals to take home with them as a memento of their trip. Who is up for a game of Barrel of Monkeys? At snack time, sip jungle juice and munch on animal snacks while we discuss what to do if we are ever lost… in the jungle or just in our own neighborhood!
